ha ha that rhymed. I haven't posted much lately. Holger is finally done with his semester and that makes me soooo happy. I get my hubby all to myself for almost a month. Madelyn hasn't been sleeping well at night for some reason and I wish I knew why. Some nights she will sleep until 6:30am but recently she will wake up at 1 and cry, go back to sleep and then wake up and cry. She does this constantly! She has been getting her top front teeth in and is working on her theeth on either side of those, so that could contribute but frankly I miss my sleeping baby. I'm so tired, being pregnant, and it's not helping that I am not getting any sleep at night now.
She lucky that she is at such an adorable age right now. I showed her how to blow kisses, which is so cute. She waves hi and opens and closes her fist when she wants something. That's really helpful. She is babbling a lot now too. She says "ma" when she wants me and say "da da da da" all the time. She knows the word "no" and when you say it to her she looks at you and waves and does what she's doing anyway.
We are now getting ready for Christmas! We got a cute little tree and have lights up in the living room. Madelyn knows where to go and will crawl in there real quick and sit and stare at the lights. Then she will go and get into everything. I still need to move things up from the ground level, like my favorite books that she would tear apart if she got her hands on them. It snowed about 10 inches yesterday. So now it looks like Christmas and feels like it too.
