welp it started a while back with maddy getting a cold. the cough lingered for a month and then eli got it. when eli gets a cold it goes straight for his lungs. over mothers day he got worse so being the best mommy i made an appointment this morning for my kiddos to go see the doctor. the last time we went to the doctor maddy went a little nuts so i've been reading her books about getting checkups. bearinstien bears and blue goes to the doctor. i figured if maddy saw eli do it it would be ok.
the appointment was at 1pm so we ran a few errands. after we left a store i noticed that my back tire was low. i figured i would just let holger know when we got back. i forgot to let him know until we were on the way to the appointment. well we stopped at a gas station and he checked the tire and it wouldn't hold air at all. so i called my amazing daddy to come so i can take the kids to the doc while they fixed the darn tire. while we were waiting holger and i were getting the spare from under the car. a little fact about my wonderful husband is that he is very very clean. after getting the spare out from under the car he asks me to go and get him some paper towels. i do thinking that he wants to wipe his hands....nope he wants to clean the tire!!!!! i can understand getting all the loose bits out from being under the car but he proceeds to wipe the whole tire clean so it will "stick" better to the car. i thought that was flippin hilarious.
anyway we made it to the appointment and as i thought eli does indeed have bronchialitis again and maddy has some wheezing but not as bad as her brother. both are now on antibiotics and nebulizars galore.
