welp maddy started preschool in january! she was so excited and had been asking me to go to school since september since all her friends already do. thankfully she is in the same class as a lot of the little girls that live in our same complex. her teacher always says that she is the best helper and such a smarty. her memory amazes everyone and she is such a joy.
eli is in speech therapy still and has improved a lot in the six months since he started. he is signing a few words and speaking at least 20. he started out not saying anything. he is also in a special preschool that is helping him learn some structure. since being involved in that he is starting to participate in nursery more.
holger has one more semester of school and then he is done! he loves his job and it's awesome so we will be in pullman for a while longer.
i'm just getting use to driving around all the time. it's exhausting lifting a 46 pound kid in and out of the car all the time. this is eli i'm talking about. he's almost as tall as maddy and they both wear the same shoe size. this kid is going to be ginormous!
holger and i are getting away this weekend! our anniversary is on saturday so we are packing the kids up and dropping them off at my dad's for friday and saturday. we are going to kennewick for those two days! i honestly don't know how i'm going to handle being away from my kids over night. i haven't done that since eli was born. i know they are going to have fun with their grandpa and aunts but i'm still anxious.
holger and i have been together six years! time flies when you're having fun :)
