Madelyn's first easter was pretty fun. We traveled to Hermiston to spend it with my mom. The easter bunny brought her a little basket with candy and the softest frog! It had a super cute wrist rattle on it. She loved it but I sadly forgot to grab it when we left yesterday! duh brittney. I forgot to get pictures of it all. I put her in a cute easter dress that my mom found :) I'll post pictures of it when we get them off the camera.
I noticed how observant she is on Saturday. I was sitting with her bouncing her in her favorite chair and Holger walked by into the kitchen. She watched him the whole time, even when he was out of sight she knew he was in there and waited. When he came out of the kitchen she followed him. He stopped in front of her and was looking at her and she looking back. Then out of the blue she squawked at him. It was hilarious. She let out a couple more telling him that she wanted him to hold her! It was so funny. She two and a half months old and already bossing us around ;) We love her!
Now we are getting ready to take a trip to Utah tomorrow to go and see my sister. Our first long car trip with a baby.... wish us luck ;)
