About a month ago Madelyn was supposed to be taking a nap in my dad's room. After an hour I went to check on her and I smelled poop. I go in and look at her and she is covered in brown! I automatically think she got into her diaper but she is still wearing it and her pants aren't off. I'm thinking "what the crap is on my kid?" So I pick her up and she smells like chocolate. Sure enough my dad forgot about the Hershey bar on his computer desk with in reach of her. She was covered in chocolate and I know she didn't sleep because she was wired.
The other thing was we were at my mom's after going to the temple. Madelyn was supposed to be asleep in her playpin in Blake's room. Holger hears her cry and says I better check on her. I'm thinking why she whines all the time. Good thing he did because this time she had her diaper off and had pooped! A wonderful thing about my daughter is that she hates being messy. So she doesn't want to play in poop. She happened to have stepped in it and had some on her finger and was freaking out because it was messy. I'm really proud of Holger because he didn't flip out. He actually laughed. Sorry we don't have a picture of this one :P
Another thing about Madelyn is that she has a really sensitive gag reflux. If she cry's to hard she will barf. Well it was one of those nights and she was crying really hard for some reason and we were in the kitchen. She barfed and was sad about the mess she made. She points at and pathetically says "uh-oh" in between hiccups. If she has it on her hand she shows me and goes "ooo ooo ooo"
I had to write these down somewhere so I would remember them later. We love our Maddy.
